It doesn't make any sense

My city is burying a young police officer today who was shot down in the middle of the night last week by an automatic weapon yielding piece of shit who was diagnosed last January as schizophrenic after threatening to kill his family and any law enforcement officers who interfered. His weapons were confiscated but returned to him in March because there was no legal reason to keep him disarmed. He kept his promise and killed his mother as well as injuring another 4 policemen before a SWAT officer gunned him down and spared us all an expensive not guilty by reason of insanity debacle. At the risk of not displaying my usual apolitical anarchist rantings I'm gonna take the low road here and express not one shred of regret that this puke took a fatal bullet.........sick or not. Nine weapons and almost 300 rounds of ammunition returned to this sicko? The Brady law regarding automatic weapons and enough ammunition to start a small war is expiring after 10 years. Manufacturers are already increasing production to meet the increased demand. 2000 law enforcement officers are in town today for the well choreograped ritual of burying a fallen officer. At least a couple thousand weapons at the funeral. Police from outlying areas are volunteering to patrol the streets during the funeral procession...........another couple hundred weapons.
And Bob Dole says John Kerry's wounds were only superficial, not meriting 3 purple hearts. Barely more painful than the two fillings bush got while in the National Guard in Alabama.
Seems like a lot of emphasis on violence. The FBI has been questioning protest groups on their plans for disruption and any potential terrorist activity at the political conventions. Maybe they should have questioned this murdering bastard in my home town and taken his guns away for good. All politics aside, the Michael Moore movie, Bowling for Columbine is much more chilling than Farenheit 911 and has some incredible statistics about violence worldwide. I think I'll make my next entry about sex.
