My first technical difficulty (maybe second)

I tried out posting a photo (below) from buzznet and it worked obviously but now I can't make it go away........it doesn't show up in my posting list for edit. Oh well. I'm not blog format smart..........I don't know how to do sidebars.........like links to other blogs and that 100 things about me stuff. I'd appreciate any direction from blogger vets.....me and web design not being real close friends and all.
