This craggy cut into sandstone is from an overlook of the Green River adjacent to the White Rim Trail which is an adventure in itself. Why when you view moving water from a great heighth does it appear to be not moving? Ever flown along a coast and noticed that waves that you know are breaking are without motion. When you look down at any of the great rapids of the Colorado River from the rim of the Grand Canyon all you can see is white water frozen like in a photograph. Come on, someone splain that to me or I'll just think its some kind of personal aberration heaped upon my insecurity pile. I need some corroboration here.
