I Wish

I had my new camera and could photograph all of you in your Easter finery. And then maybe halfway out of it.

Because I'm uncharacteristically out of sorts, uncentered, off my path (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Restless.

My son's new friend, down the street, got into it with his step father yesterday and the fuck told my son to get out of his house.

I paid him a visit and we now have an understanding. I saw the fear in his eyes and I must admit I liked how it made me feel. I was polite and soft spoken and that made it all the more satisfying. Rarely do you have to act when you convince someone you will.

It's best not to fuck with my kids or those who matter to me, especially when I'm restless.
