Don't you love it when people use words you don't expect to see? Two instances of traipse in the comments to my last post sent me "tramping off" to the dictionary and this is what I gleefully discovered. Glee is a good word too isn't it? But tramp about? Relative to traipsing around the house scantily clad? Perfect. Trampy traipsing? Not to mention gad. Ye gads.
