Winding, Crooked Trails

Shared Expressions and Musings with a Connection to the Origin of Things and a Surly Hatred of Progress and Development along with a Churlish Resistance to all Popular Improvements (except for HDTV and Dolby 5:1 surround sound and maybe Books on CD) (thanks Ed)

Ten Blogfacts about Me

  1. I learned about blogs this past summer from a reference to the "Wonkette", Ana Marie Cox, a DC political blogger who broke a sex scandal into the mainsteam media.
  2. A little surfing and I was immediately hooked.
  3. My blog circle has grown but still contains the original core for the most part. Most additions come from that group .
  4. Except for Charkey, who I found by clicking on "next blog", which I almost never do. Now I can't imagine her not being in this group. You're all welcome.
  5. A couple of my favorite bloggers have had to shut down due to discovery or fear of discovery. But they came back in disguise and for that I am grateful.
  6. If one of you abruptly stopped posting (not counting Dynamo who does it all the time), it would drive me nuts wondering if something bad happened.
  7. I hate the word blog. Other than grog and log, almost nothing that ends in og is a good thing. I don't like how it sounds. Say it. See?
  8. I wish I knew more about web design; I'm envious of those of you who do. I don't even know how to do the link thing in my text. I feel so inadequate.
  9. I love peeking into peoples lives. Alot.
  10. I don't think I could stop.
