Fuck today

Just heard from a dear close friend. Just last month she bought and moved into her very first home and is so excited about it. And now she has been laid off from her job, which really sucks.

When they wouldn't let me call anyone the night before surgery I snuck out of the room and called her to let her know I was in the hospital because I knew she would wonder what had happened to me. That was almost seven years ago and we've stayed in touch ever since even through some pretty rough times.

I've written about her here before and she faithfully reads. She is as sincere and genuine as it gets.
