The number of substantiated sex-abuse cases involving children under 18 fell 39% from 1993 to 2003
For children 12 to 17 the rate of sexual assaults dropped 79%
Greater incarceration of offenders, more widespread therapy, the use of psychiatric drugs, and heightened public concern are given as reasons for the decrease.
BUT......there are still far too many
There are 5551,000 registered sex offenders. That equals the population of Boston or Washington DC. Imagine going to the nation's capital and everyone who lives there molests children?

100,000 convicted offenders are missing or have failed to give a current address. That's enough sick fucks to populate Green Bay, Wisconsin and no one is the wiser as to who the fuck they are.
Gov Schwarzendipfuck wants satellite tracking devices for paroled molesters....pass the freakin legislation first you moron. Right, he'll get the funding for freakin collars....makes for a good movie star speech though.

In Iowa more than 500 convicted sex offenders will be required to wear electronic monitoring ankle bands.
Florida's new law passed this year more than doubles mandatory sentences for sex crimes against children.
The number of convictions for sex crimes is rising more quickly than for all other crimes except drugs.

Only 10% of sex offenses are committed by strangers.
Forget the bullshit kidnapped at the amusement park stories.....watch the people you probably trust.
