Amazing

The responses, the offers to help, be there. Those who bravely touched their own wounds. I need to do it justice and get everyone in one posted list, all those who offered to lend their voice, ear, and heart. You people blow me away, I swear.

But let's not kid ourselves. This problem will continue to exist. In all likelihood we'll be powerless to help much of anyone. No magic fix here. But the awareness, knowing there are places to turn, can't hurt a thing.

Maddy. Yes, baby......what you offered. Maddy is a pro with experience in this area and knows both sides of the story and is willing to share with those of us who are open to listening and helping where we can.

The lesson there is that there are professionals and organizations to turn to, all we can really offer is support and to promise to listen and direction toward help. And if needed, some place to go.

We can never forget, this is serious shit, it's violence and it's dangerous.
