Boing

It's the 22nd of February for those of you scoring at home (and what better place to score other than almost anywhere else). Big deal Edge you say, well yes it is because March, the month that brings you spring, is exactly one week away. Why it seems only yesterday that it was six weeks away. Just one now kids. Hear those birds a chirpin? Spring made me think of Boing which makes me think of Tigger which brings to mind an email I received yesterday from someone with the name Pooh something or other. Match.com extracts $16.65 from me every month and every month I see it on my bank statement I tell myself to cancel and I never do. I haven't been on in months so my profile thing is buried on page 200 or so. Trust me, only the desperate ever get as far as page 200. You can imagine what the one or two emails a month I get are like. Go on, imagine it. The Pooh person......I get this email that she has winked (wonk?) at me or some such sign of her desperation and I, ever the curious one, visit her profile template thing and in the first paragraph is "and I live with my 5 Afghan hounds and they are like family to me" Uh huh. Click. See what I mean? A reference to God or Jesus Christ is a good sign we won't live happily ever after also. Not that I am opposed to a person of faith but if it's included in your singles ad.....you probably won't like it when I tie you up so let's not waste each others time.

On the radio this morning, true story, I heard an ad for a law firm representing the "wrongfully killed". ???? I don't think any further comment is required. Must not have been friendly fire.

I know of about 1500 wrongfully killed recently.
