Stat Conundrum

Remember when I was touting my dramatic increase in daily visitors? Like an increase of a 100 a day or so? Well it's still happening and I mean they come from all over the world, Iran, all of the Russian Federations, the Far East, everywhere. Well, it doesn't hurt anything, but it's confusing. Don't ask me why, I don't look at my stat counter all that often anyway. But sometimes I have 15-20 consecutive entries who have visited my blog simply because they googled the site where I got some of the pics I posted back months ago. I deleted some but it kept on and so today I deleted the rest. And since I deleted them this morning, I'm still getting hits from google searches. Weird.

What's the point? There is none. The whole stat counter thing is a bit vane anyway, it's not the number of people who visit or read, it's who does. Sometimes it's interesting to try and figure out who a particular lurker is but other than that it doesn't really serve much purpose. Is there anyone who doesn't even have a site meter or stat counter? Just wondered.

I'm wondering if I will continue to get these hits even with none of the pics still on the blog. If so, I think that's freaky. I also wonder what this worldwide audience thinks when they end up here......they go....wtf is this? Who is this bizarro?

I hated taking those photos down, they were some of my favorites, but I'm tired of hosting the United Nations of nude photography. Too bad I couldn't recoup about a dime a hit, we could put it in a general fund and put it to good use. Maybe buy some canned goods and dog food for "edge's place for anyone who doesn't have anywhere to go when they want to flee their current life and start anew, kids free, well behaved animals welcome".

Lame post I know.
